ESCA helped sponsor the ASCE Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI) Structural Health Monitoring and Control (SHMC) Committee’s 2025 Annual Student Paper Competition. The competition promotes active participation of young professionals in EMI conferences and provides an opportunity to interact directly with SHMC committee members in the areas of structural health monitoring, system identification, smart materials and structures, and structural control. The competition is one of the largest EMI student competitions.
